Message	Carbs rely on the venturi effect to initiate fuel flow to the engine, whereas FI obviously does not. You can't really make comparisons between carbs and fuel injection in regards to size affecting response. The runner lengths are tuned to help low end torque. The proposed design will eliminate this tuned length, so the low end will suffer.
